FEEL GOOD FRIDAY #3 - I FEEL SMOOOOOOOOOTH

Nunu was drifting away in dreamland and I was halfway to nodding off behind the wheels when this song came up on the radio.

Immediately I was swept away by the smooth emotions and warbled the the lyrics I made up with the best possible nasal vocals.

Nunu, amused with her momma's sudden perkiness, decided to join the fun and tap her hands on her cushions. Oh baby, baby, this song is too 'adult' for you!

I remember describing to a friend that this song was totally 'orgasmic' when it first became a hit here (still is!) That was before I saw the video. What a letdown. I hate it. Those writhing nubile bodies make me sick (although I do confess the song makes me wanna dance the same way they do!). I just expected the video to be as spectacular as the song.

But I still think the song rawks. Santana & his grenggg grengg goreng rawks. And eventhough the music video isn't all that, I have a different version of it that I too made up in my head ... with only the smooth and nasal Rob Thomas innit.
