A scraped & blue-black knee, a missing digicam & a blogger's block! What else can hit me this week?
These few weeks, I feel that this tabby cat & I have a lot in common :)
Nunu has take on a different personality when nursing... more rambunctious, scrambling on top me and pushing me around. So 'brutal' - complete with greedy, passionate grunts and all! And the most hilarious thing is, she satisfyingly smacks & licks her lips when she's done!
I wonder if it has anything to do with the fact that she's beginning to recognize the creature 'CAT'...

I can relate! Now that LN is more mobile, she literally grabs the boppy cushion and throws it at me, saying "Give me your boobie, woman!" (Okay, she only says, "Mommy. Boobie!")
So funny that Nunu smacks her lips! Too cute.
pernah tak terdengar ayat nie..
anak kucing minum susu dari mak kucing.. sebab dia kucing.
anak orang kenapa minum susu lembu? emm.. tolong jawabkan..
mama nabi, you've moved! they tend to get aggressive as they grow older, aren't they? oh oh i dun think i can take it if nunu get more violent!
ucue, jawapannya akan menimbulkan kontroversi! hehe itu pasalla anak kita kena minum susu kita. Yang hospital2 ni bagi anak2 kita susu lembu awal2 ni apa hal?
hospital bagi anak susu lembu awal pagi?
tak kena gaya ni sure saya melenting nak bagi syarahan panjang! tapi saya perlu berfikiran positive. probably ada kesulitan, ibunya tak cukup susu? ibunya tenat? baby tak boleh nak latch?
mynn told me, the nurses here in UK akan pandang semacam to those yang tak nak breastfeed anaknya. in fact, orang sini memang bf anak2. directly atau express.
last (Laaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaassst) resort baru susu lembu ke kambing ke kucing ke buaya ke rimau ke.
hehehehe.. memang agak lucu bunyinya tapi nak buat macam mana ya? takkan nuha dah besar pun nak minum nenen lagi kan..
at lease kita di Malaysia ada susu yang boleh diminum. imagine negara-negara lain yang tak ada lembu nak ditangkap untuk diambil susu.. alamak panjang pulak berleter..
paling penting utamakan susu ibu, emm then susu lembu, emm ketiga susu kambing.. keempat susu...(apa lagi ya?)
mama sarah, jgn marah, i hope it wasnt an offending remark. wht i meant was based on my experience. The first thing tht nunu tasted was formula, u know, although i was totally against it (konon my susu tak keluar lagi and baby lapar kot) I tanya 'glucose kan boleh?' they said 'apasal nak bagi glucose pulak, formula kan ada?' garang la pulak nurse tu.
in m'sia, we're no so lucky coz there's not enuff bf advocacy going around, even for a pro-bf hospital tht i was in! What would a mother think if the hospital offers the child formula when it's normal for the mum's milk to come around 2-3 days after delivering? Some mothers gave up totally and let the baby drink formula and never bother to try again, thinking that they'll never have enuff milk. I've heard this story so many times, it's saddening
ucue, ekekke. Taklah, kalau boleh nak sampai 2 tahun. Tapi kalau dlm masa terdekat ni dah problem sgt (ie dia start menggigit ke *erk!*) then kena stoplah. Kita takle nak bf sampai ampat tawon woh
no! i was 'mad' at the way the nurses or hospitals handle the situation there.
I remember so well - the moment Sarah and Amar lahir, the midwife straightaway placed her on my chest and suruh bagi susu. (mmg ada another reason for that, but still)
and the first 2 days i had sarah, i thought mcm tak de susu. when i told the midwife who came to visit us at home - she said, mmg the first few days ada colostrum tapi cukup utk baby. mind you sarah was a huge baby and a demanding one too. i was worried then. but the 3rd day onwards - mmg (borrowing your words) leaking mcm org tak tutup shower.
kat sini mmg dia org insist suruh bf jugak, and to give formula as the last resort.
wow! i wish i lived in UK. :) the nurses there seem to know what they're doing, garang or not... funny how people in asia are a little slow on the uptake of BF, asik nak tolak formula jer even in the hospitals, heck even in the gynae's clinic when the baby isnt halfway out of the womb. then what happens to the unenlightened mothers who have lots of BM (the bershowering kind) but stop coz they're led into believing FM is much much better coz the commercials tell them it is? is it a reflection of how we've turned into a consumerist culture?
(ok now aku plak menyenyeh. sure kena hit left right centre bottom by the non-BF militants one. *ducks*)
but i like that idea of kasi susu buaya and susu rimau, ngaahaa. kasi baby FIERCE sikit. :D
ms - nasib baik!
my experience pulak- nunu was given formula until i 'got' milk. Mostly becoz my mom was too worried that 1) she was fussy & restless at night 2) she didnt wet her diaper on the 2nd day
but alhamdulillah finally got milk on the 3rd or 4th day, after a MAJOR engorgement & 'urut2' pakai sikat
hana, yah! kesian betul! they stop just becoz of 'society pressure' (the idea of a baby 'bergantungan' are just a turn off 4 some ppl kan?) or the mums think bm is inferior to formula.
aiyoh, susu rimau/buaya? minum susu lembu pun baby sudah fierce liao!
