In my whole adult life, I've never had shoes besides the colour of black, blue and beige (minus that one time I bought a pair of pink kenduri shoes with the tacky bow).
And I've always had this love hate relationship with shoes coz I was always envious of girls who can wear nice shoes. Sometimes I see those oversized makcik-makcik teetering precariously on their heels so selambaly and wonder what it's like.
I have to put an end to this torment sooner or later; screw my eczema, screw my bunions. So when I saw these shining beacon of hope, I was instantly in love and obsessed with the royal shade. In fact, I got overboard and bought purple shawls and changed my blog background to purple as well.
Now, everywhere I go, people keep saying to me "Hey, nice shoes!"
What an uplifting remark compared to the ones I used to get in uni, "Hey, you datang kelas pakai selipar toilet ker?"
