The other day, I was just messing with Nunu's head, because she acted ridiculously babyish when I carried cucu no 11, Ieman while his mom helped MIL in the kitchen. One minute she was cooing him, another minute she screamed gibberish at us and demanded me to carry and get her inside the baby hammock. Typical almost-3-year old stuff handling jealousy.
So as I was saying, later that night I asked her if she wanted a baby adik of her own, younger and cuter than Ieman. She excitedly said yes, and specifically said 'puanpuan'.
"Eh, what is that?" I asked. "What is puan puan?"
"Puan puan lah, macam kakak, macam momma. Don't want Ieman."
"Oooh coz Ieman boy?"
She nodded. Hahaha she meant 'perempuan', a baby girl!
"But you like to play with boys, not girls!"
She answered, "Adik boy notty! Blablabla, macam Aqil."
Ooooh so she doesn't want to handle a naughty sibling!
I shot her a cynical but playful remark, "You're a girl and you're notty?"
She shook her head and said convincingly "Kakak good girl lah!"
Here she was trying to say the word 'perempuan' again, and in order to confuse her, I told her to say some words that she has difficulty with like 'matematik' and 'vanilla'. It doesn't help that she has a stuffy nose at the time!

Trying to pronounce 4-sukukata word is a great accomplishment ok...even puanpuan;)
fid, ah ah, takde la lari jauh sgt. tapi geli hati la kan gelagat anak2 ni bila diajak berdiskusi :) sama la cam acif yg stress dia ajer yg betul :D

anne, be careful what u wish for... hehhe... nunu probably is ready to have puanpuan sister but is the mommy ready... jeng jeng jeng.. LOL

j.a.d, i wasn't wishing for anything yet but i'd like to throw the idea to nunu just to see what she really thinks and wants, y'know. for now, i'd go back to the faithful excuse, "takde rezeki lagi laa"
