So I have been unwell these past three days, and I shan't go on about it, coz as I've learnt recently, misery loves company and although you have every reason to go hang yourself right now, nobody wants to hear it.

Anyone remembers this ad for Ubat Batuk Cap Ibu dan Anak from their childhood? Gosh, talk about powerful advertising, that song sticks to your mind like gam cap gajah.
But I never recall having this medication around at home coz Mom always keep stock of the cough syrup from the clinic in our fridge. Now that we don't live in Mom's house anymore, and we're so manja to pay another doctor just to give us a prescription of weak medication, I might as well give this one a try. And it's so freakingly delicious I'm taking it more frequently than I should *hichic*
Anyway, NOW I know why it's called Ubat Batuk Cap Ibu dan Anak! It just dawned on me when anak batuk, ibu also batuk, when ibu batuk, anak also batuk. When Nunu coughs, I come running to her with ubat batuk, and when I cough, she comes running with ubat batuk!
Eh wait, do I make any sense at all? Never mind me, I'm wasted for tonight.

u know what, for some ppl these meds have the opposite-effect! gib unfortunately takes after me... cough meds make us anxious, not sleepy! :((

My sister even take this syrup when she has body heatiness. Apparently it works like that too.
