Kids and phases - inseparable. Two weeks ago it was mechanical pens (ouh I can't find a decent pen around the house anymore!) and all the members of the stationery family.

She even went to sleep with them one night.

She's still in the habit of snitching anyone's stationery whenever possible, and when I found her loot in her bag, I wanted to give her a good scolding for taking people's stuff without permission.
Martian thought it was funny and we shouldn't be too concerned. "Well, at least she likes academic stuff." Yeah, right, whatever.

And recently, we welcome another obsession of hers - SHARPENERS! It happened on the day I went shopping with my folks two weeks ago. As usual, Nunu poked her nose in all the right places and found mom's pencil case (yeah, doctors keep a pencil case too!). She was adamant that mom has a sharpener inside it, although the wasn't any. She kicked up so much fuss that doting grandaddy, despite my disapproval, just decided to take off to the nearby store and just buy that bleeping thing for her.
I admit I was a little freaked out with this new found fascination with the office supply coz I was afraid she would stick her hand inside the hole and *god forbids* accidentally nick her precious fingers, because I knew it happened to a kid one time. But like all crazes, we have to allow it to get out of the system. And I'd have to monitor her pencil sharpening activity, however bored out of my mind I would be.
Oh yeah, the pink potty is now doubling it's dust collecting duty.

haha - that's funny - the potty here is collecting dust too. I refused to potty train her till I back from my Singapore trip - ***** the toddler experts! Anyway, it's a good obsession of Nunu's - but it's true, the sharpener is one mean stationery item - GRANDPARENTS!!! Aiyah, can't live with them and JUST CAN'T LIVE WITH THEM heheh
amboi..siap tido ngan pensel dan pembaris tu..hehhehhe
mesti mimpi2 nak lukis2 ni
Muahaha..! A potty that doubles up as a rubbish bin.
sure boring tengok nunu sharpening her pencils on and on :p hahahaha! gib's potty pun is doubling its duty as dust-collector as well as tempat simpan his small toys. cis!
bavani, actually, each item is potentially hazardous rite? i know i'm gg overboard, but if she's holding a pencil, a pen or a ruler, i'm afraid she might poke her eyes!
rizza, sigh... tak taulah, apa kena dia malam tu. takut benar i sorokkan barang2 dia sbb dia kuat menyemak sangat
dyanna, pretty useful la that thing. takde lah jadi white elephant, hahaha
bb, boring gilerrrr, sampai satu tahap i marah dia, "nunu dah le sharp tu! tulis la pulak!" kuakuakuaa... ah, one time ada jugak dia main2 potty tu jadi alat memasak dia.. gahhh!
ah!
future architect, maybe?
eeeek i very the scared of sharpeners also.. so sked that they stick the lil finger in it.
db, architects must have sharp pencils all the time, huh
sasha, we have that big ass type of sharpener, the one that kena crank the handle mcm mau crank machine... that one lagi sked!
Haha. Sleeping but still holding tight to her ruler and pencil. So cute.
When we were little, we were also like that. I remember I used to collect so many cute erasers, I kept them until all become hard like rock, stickers became not sticky. LOL.
great idea!~ turn potty into dust collecting tool :)
leena, yaaah! i remember in primary school i had this phase of collecting cute and fragrant erasers too. keep keep never use until they become busuk edi, haaha
