THE GUNDU POST (oh ya and the anniversary post - a belated one of course)

Malaysian don't use the word 'gundu' much, not due to the indecent connotation but probably coz it's a largely Singaporean term. Well, thanks to PCK, the word's shtuck in my head.

I am feeling overly 'gundu' because not only did I miss my wedding anniversary, I couldn't even remember the date. I mean, what type of woman forgets her own anniversary?? I woke up one day and immediately I was paralysed with the thought that my memory is failing me to this damaging extent, "Dear god, when is my anniversary???"

I nudged Martian and said, "Yang, we missed our anniversary lah."

"When?" he asked, voice muffled in thick morning halitus.

"Errr, a few days alreadylah."

"It's OK, nanti we celebratelah."

So celebrate we did later that weekend. Supper at Damiral's (nothing fancy - cheap but delicious food, excellant ambiance, no food pics :p ) and got each other gifts that we are pretty much happy about (although my gift pinches on my bunions- ouch!)

I also forgot to bring Nunu for her shots. Now I'm afraid to go to the community clinic unless my ears can tahan the nurse menceceh nanti.

So must fork out some money and bring her to a private clinic. Speaking of clinics, we were lucky we found a 24-hour clinic near our town early yesterday morning. Nunu was afflicted with a pretty bad case of colic at midnight and was in a great deal of pain. We drove around the Kepala Batas town looking for a clinic (Martian hissed under his breath that even the PM's hometown is so 'ulu'!) and finally found one at Bertam after he made a few calls to his friends.

She's OK now, after her physio session with her Abah with the magical healing hands :)


Best ah bunyik bruppp... brupp....

Then we had to visit Grandma Doc pulak this morning because her pet-pet is all red due to all that poo action :(

Turns out to be, the culprit is BANANAS. The nanny reports to me that Nunu ate 4 small pisang emas the day before. And she never liked bananas before this.


Sekali taram 4, mana tak sakit perut, nak oiii?!

OK, strike bananas off from her menu from now on. Stick to the nasi goreng telur. She seems to enjoy that very much these days. Tak main la bubur-bubur sekarang.

And...oh ya! It actually falls on the 13th December. Hehe *slaps forehead*

I should get a ticker or something.
