It happened on Friday afternoon, at the nanny's of course. Nunu's starting to gain confidence again to take baby steps after her regression a last month.
Yes, it does happen, you know. Just when a child is about to cross a great milestone such as crawling, walking and talking, they could find those new skills are not their cup of tea, and decides to hold back a little and do what they do best at the previous, less developed state.
Was I excited or not? You bet I was! That cackling sound, that was me hardly containing myself. And I knocked down my dear lil cous Omar who was behind me while I was taking the video.
Oh ya, we had guests from Terengganu that night. My Mom's younger sisters, Aunty Ani came all the way from Terengganu, and Che' Su from Alor Setar, with their clans tagging along and congregated at Mom's. The house was gamat all right- full to the brim!
Aunty Ani & Uncle Mokhtar have 4 lovely daughters, Ayuni, Naja, Sara & Miza.
I don't know how Che' Su & Uncle Osman manage to fit their 9 children - Ameenah, Mu'az, Khatejah, Ibrahim, Muhammad, Sarah, Husna, Omar & Maryam - into the car. I imagine little clowns in little red fire engines :)
The educational family watching Discovery
Maryam - it's in the genes baybeh ;)
Nunu getting very chummy with Tok Uncle Mokhtar whom she last saw when she was only 2 mths old
If only the battery didn't die on me that night, I would have a pic of Omar mauling Hello Kitty & biting her ears off :(
It's not easy to get the people from the east to come for a visit.
