RELAX, BABE
I think it's a clever idea to hang Nunu's favourite book above her to keep her from bursting into a tantrum during the long car ride. I also keep a bottle of milk with me, before she revs up her engines, in goes the bottle in her mouth (doesnt always work). Under my car seat is a stash of her toys, so if she's getting bored, I can swap the book with any of the other toys.
But this kid is so bored....
and so high strung...

I think she's like me - I like the view outside the car and I refuse to sit down. I like to see where I'm going. Or rather where I'm driven to.
alamak, the book is a lil bit further from her nose, but the strong she is, she pulled it closer right above her face! I have to keep adjusting it.
Yeah she likes very much when i stop, pick her up and let her see the cars whiz by.
how abt inclining the seat a little more upwards so nunu can see the cars and the trees whiz by? looks like all she can do is lie back, could be why she's bored... she wants to sit up like a big girl! :)

u can try ebay like missyE's mummy, she actually got her brand new lookin' infant car seat for a steal, from ebay no less! :D
but in any case, gotta invest in a good one car seat coz it's gonna last them for a few years to come.... :S
Does she like music? LN used to get cranky - thankfully, it's also a phase so there's a good chance that Nunu will soon like car rides - and sometimes her favorite music calmed her down. Also a mirror helped... it's a tough phase, especially if you have to be go for car rides a lot... hang in there!
