Finally....!

Today, Nunu tried her spanking new car seat for the first time. I figured she'd scream her head off if I strap her up since she hadn't been fed yet, but surprisingly she loved it! Finally I can drive at peace without worrying about her safety in the car. I've been used to drive around 30-40 km/h when she's around (yeah, that slow! Been warned by Hubby already!) She's rapidly out-growing her rocker-basket and has learnt to jump off it by lifting her bum-bum up and down. There were numerous times when I just let her do her thing, and she'd kick and jump until her her head slides down to the farthest end of the rocker. Then she'd whimper for help. Hubby and I find it hilarious.

Back to the car seat, I just don't understand why these people invent and manufacture this piece of equipment to face the dashboard. Isn't it safer if we turn it to face the passenger seat (by the way, I put Nunu on the front passenger seat so that I can entertain and coo at her and prevent any potential tantrums)? It's still not safe enough if the strap is too short and can't reach around the passenger seat. Ideas, anyone?

For the time being, I'm still gonna have to drive her around slowly....
